This is a lovely flat bowl basket with striking traditional geometric designs. The origin of the basket is unknown. It may not be Native American. The basket is round, wide, and low in height. 
 
The basket has never been appraised. It was purchased the 1990s, but no authentication of age or origin is available. 
 
Basket measures 13 inches in width and 3 inches in height. This basket is in good-fair condition showing some damage along the edge and amongst the stiches. The overall stitching is a bit loose.
 
This basket would look wonderful in the currently popular farmhouse style, a contemporary decor, or anywhere there is desire for warmth, smooth lines, texture, and an earthy element.
