WOW! The geometric design on this vintage Papago (Southern Arizona) coil basket tray is gorgeous! The basket was purchased at a Native American auction in the 1980s-1990s. An appraiser has declared the basket to be Papago, but no authentication of age or origin is available. 
 
Basket measures 12 ½ inches in length and 7 inches in width. This is a versatile piece which would look wonderful in the currently popular farmhouse style, a contemporary decor, or anywhere there is desire for warmth, smooth lines, texture, and an earthy element.
 
The condition is considered very good-excellent. The tray was woven slightly out of shape, as evident in the photos. The tray was appraised at $100.00.
