Stunning! Thisis a beautiful Yei weaving with 4 figures holding prayer sticks. The outside border is in a two Gray Hills style with colors of black, tan, and gold. Figures are on a gray background with colors of black, tan, brown, red, white, yellow, green and turquoise. Aniline dyes were used throughout. Tight weave, contemporary.
The weaving was originally purchaed in the 1990s and has had only one owner. It was hung in a non-smoking home. It has been in storage since flood damage.
Size: 53” x 67”
Condition: Running of colors, mold due to a storm and flooding. Staining mostly along bottom 1/3-1/2 of rug. Top portion has little damage. Note closeup photos. The price relects the damage. The rug is heavy, therefore the price shows the higher shipping cost.

Care and maintaintenqnce of vintage Native American rugs: Regularly vacuum rugs but without a brush roller so that the texture of the rug is not effected. Avoid placing the rug in direct sunligh. Store rugs flat in a cool, dry place to help preserve the fabric and colors. If cleaning is necessary, contact a company that specailizes in cleaning authentic Native Amercan rugs. Do not use commercial cleaners. soaps, or stain removers or rug cleaners.
